Why Adults Managing Nicotine Dependence Deserve Accessible Support
Many Australians struggle with nicotine dependence and want to reduce or quit smoking. But the journey to quitting can be challenging, and not all options suit every individual. That’s why qualified healthcare professionals support via regulated pathways – including therapeutic nicotine products – to help adults manage their dependence safely and effectively.
With prescription or pharmacy access now available, eligible patients can consult a doctor or pharmacist to see if a therapeutic nicotine product may be right for them. These new options aim to support better outcomes and offer a more personalised approach to quitting.
Understanding Nicotine Role
Nicotine Salt products deliver nicotine similar to a cigarette, better supporting you in the early stages of cessation.
Freebase nicotine delivers at a slower rate, and is better suited to smokers who have quit for at least 6 months
